Promising page, will keep an eye on it and shall be ready to edit my vote. Get going, the idea's great
31st May 2004: Much better, updated the vote to a three-star. Who knows, the fourth one might be on its way as soon as I find the time for a closer look. Congratulations anyway. Good work
4th Nov 2004: Four stars all right, makes justice to the Cordillera. Sorry to be so late in this last edition of my vote...
I know I'm going to like the end result... its already good enough... and as far as I'm concerned the more info. on this area the better as I know I'll be visiting in the not too distant future.
I like summary pages, despite the fact that they are not mountains and shouldn't be on summitpost blah blah blah ;-)
Maybe you can try to find and add some links to the side menu, as well as more books. I think that's also an important part of a summary page; to provide access to other resources.
Good page. It would be nice to have the names and elevations of all the peaks of this range and a link to those peaks that are already on SP (I do see the links that you have made. Are these the only ones that are on SP?).
Thanks for this very nice page, I'm planning to go to this region in the near future. And did find on your page some really usefull information. Keep on doing the good work!
I have adopted this page, and am happy to say it has been completely overhauled. Please see changes, and feel free to suggest any changes or additions to me!
Hi,
Me and my partner are thinking of going next summer to the Cordillera Blanca for climbing and hiking. I know that in the past you only needed to pay the entrance fee to the National Park but you could hike without a guide. Do you know how is the situation now? Can you still climb independently or you are required to have a guide?
Thanks

Airline baggageU.S. airlines do allow two checked items, but the weight limit per piece is usually 50 pounds (23 kg).
