Distant views from the upper Glacier de Vouasson

Most of the peaks on the horizon are between 40 and 50 km away, to the NNE. At the bottom is the Glacier du Vouasson. The ridge in the middle is just over 10 km away. Between that ridge and the distant peaks lies the wide Rhone valley. the elevation of the valley floor is less than 500 m at this point. For an annotated version, click here. 10 March 2014.
