Several times up Giants Crawl
I first climbed this in the early 1970's when I was taken up on a trip from School. In the 1980's I was taking people up myself and I also solo'd the route at least twice. I have climbed the route 3 times in the last decade, the last time being in 2007. I agree with Simnel - my favourite lakeland diff as well.
Great easy routes...Giants Crawl is prob my favourite lakeland Diff.

Airy
Think we went up the Easy Terrace bit as you call it then straight up to the top. The guide book we used classed it as a 3S scramble, and yeah a rope is advised for that at times due to the steepness and abundant slippery grass surfaces. Not for the faint of heart, in fact, I probably wouldn't do it again! Haha :D
