You are lucky man

The latest Easter trek of the segment of Polonyna Bukovetska from Pikuy to Ostry Wierch was a nightmare for me. I experienced "white darkness" with precarious orientation and was forced to descent to Libuchora:(

That must have been interesting survival! Yep, I took the best from that modest winter of 2015 in our Carpathians before leaving to Lapland then... unfortunately no mountain winter joy in the passed season at all :(

I was charmed by Mt.Pikuy area in that sunny and snowy winter, but a bit dissatisfied with its desert dry scenery, hiking the whole distance of the polonyna to Uzok pass in terrible, tropical heat last August...

Hope you enjoy that blooming springtime somewhere in the hills right now...
