Great!

Nice report! We climbed the Notch Couloir in October and had a similar experience. Car to car in 17 hours and a painfully long decent in the dark. Sound like it was quite cold for you guys!

Cheers.

rap the east wall?

Wow congratulations on a great climb!! Hey I’m interested in climbing Longs this summer via the Keyhole but want to rappel back down. I have been reading about descending the North side via the Cables Route but after reading your report I was wondering if it would be possible to rap the east wall from the summit. Are there any fixed bolts on the east wall, and in your opinion, roughly how many raps would it take to descend? Thanks for your help and thanks for the report.
