Re: Outstanding page

Thats true. In the states though, your spelling usually makes more sense than over here. Like Color to our colour, never did get what that U was doing in there!

Re: Another song

Cool, I like this link. It would be good if I could get this to play when people were on the page.
Cheers,
Stephen

Re: Another song

Stephen,

Send a message to William Jenkinson. He did something similar with the Carrantoohill page, i'm sure he can help you out with Glencoe.

Cheers,
Clint

Re: Another song

That particular website is set up so it is hard to link the original mp3; they want people to buy the songs.

However, there are lots of Glencoe-related Scots songs -- on Youtube, for example:
Glencoe1

There are at least 3 more decent Glencoe tributes on that site, but this crappy editor wraps the addresses, so they won;'t show here in this comments section/

Fabulous

Fabulous page Stephen, good to see some more UK, especially Scottish pages. I just love the Scottish hills, pure beauty, always moody and never fail to thrill. I stayed in an olde farm house in Tyndrum for next to nothing for three weeks, a very good cheap base for Glencoe and surrounding hills.

Re: Fabulous

Cheers Mark, I'm glad you like the page. Glencoe is a beautiful place and deserved a mention on Summitpost. Stopped off at Tyndrum last weekend with the family while doing a little low level hiking in Strathfillan. Excellent day out and Tyndrum is always worth a visit.
Cheers
Stephen
