John ???

I have a (serious) question on Ham Rock.
Let me go up (there) and get it! : ))

Here's my question. When you round the bend
on the paved road going up to the "Windows"
section, there's a sign that says:
'POTHOLE ARCH.'

Have you ever seen Pothole Arch? It must be
hidden on Ham Rock somewhere? Mysterious ...

Re: John ???

Maybe so - I didn't notice that. I wonder how tough this thing is - there looks to be a way up on the north side before the final blocks, where my guess is probably upper 5th. I had a decent rack to give it a try but it was too windy to check it out after we finished Elephant Butte :(

Re: John ???

Absolutely right - lots of WIND in southern
Utah and northern AZ this year - blowing
through the "chasms of time."

How was the view of the LaSals from Elephant
Butte? - it must have been pretty awesome.

Thanks, John!
