Overview

Ridges of limestone are the most noticable feature of this beautiful area. Looking up the pass or rather south from the summit of Gap mountain this is what you will see. There are dozed of peaks to climb or scramble with all types and levels of difficulty. The Highwood pass area can be reached via the 40 or Kananaskis Trail which starts 65 kilometres west of Calgary. An alternative would be to approach from highway 2 south via Turner Valley and Longview. The pass is closed from Dec 1 till June 15 each year.

Children

Children

Children refers to the set of objects that logically fall under a given object. For example, the Aconcagua mountain page is a child of the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits.' The Aconcagua mountain itself has many routes, photos, and trip reports as children.
