Traverse with Vertainspitze
Cloudy + misty day and a companion not acclimatized at all... took us the whole day.
Angelus was very straightforward, more a hike than a climb.
Vertain NE-arete was a nice climb.

Reinstadler - Traverse
Climbed together with Maarten from the Dusseldorfer Huette along the Reinstadler Route to the summit. Did the traverse route with Vertainspitze and afterwards back to Sulden.
The weather was not good. No summit views from both Angelus and Vertainspitze. Still, a very nice tour!

Second summit of the day
In the morning I had climbed the Tschenglser Hochwand. Back at the Düsseldorfer Hütte I had a big meal and since the weather was holding, which is what I had hoped for, I used the afternoon for fast ascent of Hoher Angelus. On the summit I enjoyed wonderful views, especially of the Laaser Ferner and neigbouring Vertainspitze. On the way down there was a short spell of rain, but hardly had I put on my rain pants or it stopped again. Only much later at night would the heavens really open wide, but by then I was back in Sulden.
