Just a few miles south of...
Just a few miles south of Snow Valley Peak is the high point of Nevada's Douglas County, East Peak. Rime ice adorned trees gave this area a special flavor. This pic was taken a couple of days prior to my climb of Snow Valley Peak. East Peak is located in the ski area of Heavenly Valley. This view is looking north showing a lot of Lake Tahoe. A great viewpoint.
