Day 16, the last day of our March 1988 ski tour in Katun'skie Belki Range of Altay Mountains.
The river-ice skiing adventure of Argut Gorge behind us, we have just a few miles left to pack the skis before reaching the historical Chuya Trakt Highway, in the shadow of the Eastern ranges far ahead.
