Kriváň (2495 m) seen from Sedielková kopa (2061 m). East wall of Kriváň is 300 to 400 meters high and 800 meters wide. The ridge before Kriváň is the south crotch of Krátka (2374 m). The leftmost broad monticule is Jamská kopa (2079 m). To the right of it, the ridge is growing to higher Krátky hrb and Krátka veža (2197 m). Date of the photo: 13th october 2007

A very windy day, yes? The trails and ridges
must be very steep in the High Tatra. I
am sorry that the pass is not open going
to the Polish side. Best regards.

Hi Larry, from here to Poland there is a pretty long hike, but it is possible to complete within 6 hours I guess. The way to the Poland is to the north and you must cross at least two such steep ridges as you see on this photo. Cheers Tomas :)
