Long time ago but lovely route
First ascent for me with Nick F.
No idea really when the last time was. Nice route though.
On a school trip - date is a guess, but it was around then - and one of the first rock climbs I did in the Lake District.
(not sure of date: it was during a Reading Mountaineering Club meet...). I led Tim. We were a bit clueless but got there in the end. It started to rain near the final most exposed move at the top but we topped out without too much of a problem. Luckily we had got there early so we were first in the queue and lucky, cos the weather wasn't great, there was no one behind us, cos I'm sure we faffed around a lot and took twice as long as most folk would take. Remains a great little route and super name. And you can have tea and scones in the café below and look up at your little mountain above you.
