Looking back on the ascent route from the edge of the Glacier de Vouasson

I'm on my way to Pointe de Vouasson (3490m). The route passes just north of Pointe de Darbonneire (3422m). Strangely enough, there is a Col Nord de Darbonneire immediately to its west, but according to the maps that I checked, the wide col to its north has no name. Anyway, name or not, it's a fine place to look down on the ascent route, or at least on the last gentle part, some 500 m or so. Just below that, it gets a bit steeper. Nothing serious mind you, just enough to hide the first 1000 m of the ascent from the Arolla valley from view. 10 March 2014.
