Looking West From the Summit

Looking west from the summit of Vermilion Peak. Copper Butte is at the center of the photo. The ridge running to the left from its near saddle goes to Prospect Point and has a trail connecting the trailhead at Indian Hill to the bottom of Buck Lake Creek, which is the large drainage cutting across this photo. Its about 15 miles from the trailhead to the summit depending on which option one takes. July 2007
