Looking west along the ridge leading to the broad red slopes of Seward Mountain (center), which we climbed en route to this point. The prominent spire just left of center is a very important landmark; the broad ridge that leads to the southwest from the base of this peak provides a quick, safe descent route to Poia Lake. The prominent peak in the right background is Mount Merritt with Old Sun Glacier. The small sharp spire to the right is Natoas Peak. The sharp summit on the extreme left is Iceberg Peak. July 19, 2010
