Lost in a Lost World

Lost in a Lost World

"Woke up today, I was crying .. Lost in a lost world. So many people are dying .. Lost in a lost world. Some of them are living an illusion, Bounded by the darkness of their minds ..." View of the UN6519' from down-canyon along the Boynton Vista Trail : Although this is one of Arizona's most accessible Wildernesses, you can still find solitude here, largely due to the deep canyons, the many hidden grottoes, and the dense riparian vegetation. The rough terrain prevents trails from crossing the entire area, though the snarl of wildcats is ALWAYS heard on the wind. January 27, 2011

Re: Seventh Sojurn

Thanks, John! You can't go wrong with a
classic rock band set to a fantastic combination of colorful rocks.

They go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Hey

Larry, once again a hell of a shot! However I should tell you that this is not Lost Mountain but rather UN6519 - sometimes known as the "White Bishop." Lost Mountain is a little west, at the head of Boynton.

Re: Hey

Is this Walt? Where have you been...? I had given you up for DEAD.

Being that your beta information has a GREAT
track record for being CORRECT, guess I gotta
take your word for it.

If this isn't Lost Mountain, then I guess I am. THANKS for finding me and setting me straight!

Re: Hey

Still living, still cranking out Sedona summits. :) Problem is I work two jobs and SP is blocked at work, so I'm almost never on any more. I see your pics still kick ass though. You're close, btw. Lost mountain is about a mile west of the Bishop... if your shot was a little wider angle you'd see it. Good to hear from you dude!

Re: Hey

Geez, there's been a lot of good folks leaving
SP lately ... it's definitely NOT the same.

I need to go back up Boynton. The last time
I was there, a mangy group of long-haired
tourists were beating drums, and nearly sent
me runnin' back to the TH. Scary stuff!
