I was always happy to

be back in North America after my military
experience.

Seems like Alaska would be an interesting
place to serve in the military. Then again,
I would probably miss Arizona after three or
four weeks.

Thanks, Icarreau - I appreciate it. Alaska was great, I wish I could have gotten out more. You learn to appreciate (or maybe dislike) civilization more when you live on the edge of it. Now it's off to the Pacific Northwest...

I spent eight years in western Washington, and
most of that time was spent trying to get away
from people and civilization in general.
