This is the best and most interesting image of the Manzano's I have ever seen. You ought to attach it to the autumn color album.
Thanks for the vote! I went ahead and attached it to the Fall Colors Album.
It is rare to get a shot of a mountain range at the perfect time of year in good weather. This is definitely one of the best photos of New Mexico mountains that I have ever seen.
Thanks for your vote! Yes, we did the mountain at a great time of year. I am hoping to continue to get some good NM Mountain photos as I explore the state more.
Would it be possible to use this photo for a presentation I am giving on New Mexico and renewable energy? I like to provide a beautiful photo of the State, and credit the photographer. I can credit "Hans Schenk, summitpost.org, and provide a link" if that is alright. I assume the presentation will be published, so your photo would be published with it, credited to you. Let me know. Thanks!
Yes, you can use the photo! Credit would be nice, so thank you in advance! It sounds like an interesting presentation...I hope it goes well.
Thanks Hans. By the way, your Manzano Mountains page, if you click on the Interactive Map, shows the range in China. The reason is you need to fix the longitude so it is in the Western Hemisphere:
Longitude of 106.44600°E should be 106.44600°W, which means -106.44600
Thanks for letting me know! I did check it when I made the page and the right map came up...I must have made a mistake somewhere along the line.
Hey...how did your presentation go?
I am a public speaker, and a darn good one, so it was no problem. People loved your photo. Quite beautiful. Thanks again for letting me use it!
Glad to hear it!
