Mt Diablo  Sucess!

Hiked all the way up from the park boundary to the top on the Summit Trail. The previous day it rained, so the trail was pretty muddy. It was still a fun hike though, with good views from the top. Here is a more detailed trip report:

Mt Olympia Trail  Sucess!

Olympia to North to Diablo. It was a lot easier than I had anticipated based on the posted trail description. The ridge between Olympia and North is a much more fun and speedy. While it's loose, its really no harder then second class baring poor route finding.

good workout  Sucess!

Depending on how you do this, this can be a real good workout and perfect training for bigger mountains. I come up from the suburban northside, not to avoid the entrance fee, but because the trails up that side are I think the most scenic and uphill

Summit Trail  Sucess!

Nice Hike; except that I had to pay $10 just to enter the park. The views are probably awesome without the haze.

Three peak loop

Climbed via the Eagle Peak trail and Prospector Gap. Decended by way of the Mitchell Canyon Trail. Bagged Eagle Peak, Diablo Summit, and North Peak. Trek was approximately 15 miles. A group of T6 Texan aircraft did a fly-by while we were on the summit. Very cool!

Climbed up. Then back down.  Sucess!

Nice hike given the proximity to urban areas.
