Another notable gap in the NH 4k list has been filled! Hurrah! It's too bad that Wildcat doesn't look like much from most angles because it's a pretty rigorous hike. Either end of the ridge is a stiff climb and the views are fabulous.
I used to work at Wildcat the ski area and would savor the days I got sent to the top to catch gondolas. The view was worth more than the pay check.
That must have been great having to enjoy that view while at work. When we climbed on Saturday we had one of those amazing winter days, clear air, blue sky, and big ole Mt Washington right there all day long.
It would have been more incredible if they'd let me ski when the weather wasn't really awful! Still, there were worse things to look at on lunch breaks...
Excellent page. I just spent the past hour putting up "Peak A" but Nartreb just informed me that you had put this up. I missed it. Yours is much better anyhow. I deleted mine.

Untitled CommentAre you going to post your photos here? Your sig photo and the one with the cabin in the foreground were particularly good.

Untitled CommentSure. I can post a few since you've asked. I probably wouldn't have posted all of them previously but I was just trying to add to the page.
