Amazing mountains. Who would think that the Grenediers, which are probably not as long as the Tetons, would be part of such a long fault block?

This area has already been added to my growing list of places I want to see.

Any idea where the name "Storm King" came from, or who named it? I really love that name. There was a small mountain in NY near where I went to college with the same name. Definitely one of the coolest names for a mountain.

A nice looking mountain.

"Storm King" is an oft-used toponym. There are four such names for peaks in WA and they're all different sorts of peaks. High, low, forested, alpine, east of Pacific Crest, west of Pacific Crest.
