GUFFERT is a summit in the "Rofangebirge" in Austria. The summit is a rocky pyramid. The beautiful mountain is called "The Matterhorn above the Achensee". You can climb GUFFERT the whole year. The normal Route (from the South / Steinberg) is a easy hiking-route with little climbing in the first grades and takes 4h up and down. At the summit you can enjoy the view to GROSSGLOCKNER, GROSSVENEDIGER and ZUGSPITZE. The coordinates are 47.5333°N, 11.7833°E.
You can get there from Innsbruck (1h) or Munich (1h) over the "Achensee" to Steinberg. Steinberg is the town at the foot of the mountain.
