On the Rothenfels, with a little snow ...
This is another photo, from the southern summit of the Rothenfels. We were here, in november 2007, when the weather was bad and very humid ... The hike was a little bit difficult and dangerous, but extremely interesting, for the rocks that we had seen thereover ... The Rothenberg mountain is classified as " Natural and Savage Reserve " (like others massives, located in the neary country ; examples : Hundskopf, Ranschberg, Falkenberg, Erbsenfels, Kandelfels, Kachler, Hasselberg, Carlsfels, ... ). The access to all these sites are normally, theorically, forbidden for the hiker and climber publics, and this, definitively ! This is a big fault, a monumental connery ... There's any other style, for describing this governmental and forestian rule, in the Northern Vosges ! The poor rocks are becoming dead, and those ones will certainly, definitively disappear, if we wouldn't do something for cleaning and valorising them ! So, please, it's time now to react, in emergency !!!
