Built for the cold of high altitute peaks, the Absolute Zero is constructed of 700 fill quality down and lets you, literally batten down all the hatches. The water resistant laminate (Conduit SL) shell keeps the down safe from predatory precipitaion, while abrasion area reinforcements keep it safe from pack straps and rock rubbing. When the going gets VERY cold, the down-filled hood adjusts - with only one hand - to completely cover your face and head.

* Conduit SL / Nylon Taffeta shell
* 700 fill power down insulation
* Powder Skirt
* 2 zippered fleece lined handwarmer pockets
* 2 inside pockets.

A very very warm jacket, comfortable to wear. I like the abrasion resistant strips on the shoulders so the pack straps do not ruin your jacket. One hand and a little pull and your face can nearly be totally covered. The jacket packs into a very small space easily in a small stuff sack that comes with the jacket. I would like to see the length just a little longer but other than that I have no complaints.
