Works well
If you're counting ounces, this may be considered a luxury item, especially if you are already carrying a headlamp. Also, the battery life is not stellar. However, the BD Orbit lantern is a great lantern for the more casual camper. It works very well overall and is relatively lightweight (4.8 oz).

Does it's job
One of the few redundancies in my pack. I have a headlamp, but still can't seem to not bring this little guy. It lights a small tent well and hangs easily.
