Created specifically for mountaineering but suitable for skiing, snowboarding and winter backpacking, the Outdoor Research Glacier Mitts™ emphasize full hand protection with a durable, waterproof and breathable shell attached to a warm and breathable performance liner. Textured rubber palm for gripping slick objects like ice axes (even when wet). Glacier Mitt™ - The Outdoor Research Glacier Mitts™ are similar in design to the Outdoor Research Summit Mitts™, but the Glacier gives up a few features to deliver more insulation in the form of a plush and removable 300-weight fleece liner. These mitts are the ideal solution for perpetually chilled fingers, especially if you plan on spending a day or two away from the nearest permanent warm shelter. Special AlpenGrip® LT friction tabs and strong Velcro® anchor points along the top and bottom of the wrist keep the liner from bunching or slipping inside the shell.

Rugged Taslan nylon outer shell with waterproof and breathable Ventia™

300-weight fleece removable liner

Waterproof, fully-taped construction with three-panel thumb on shell

Anatomical progressive curve along boxed fingers for a natural, contoured fit

Ladder lock wrist cinch closure

One-handed DuoCinch™ closure and removable cords on shell

AlpenGrip® LT friction tabs on liner and in shell keep liner in place

Velcro® anchor points along top and bottom of liner wrist secure liner to shell

OR logo on back of glove shell

Warm
Good mits, can cover an insulator and fingered glove. Long gauntlets with cinches keep the snow out.
