Product Description

Nikwax Tech Wash is a technical cleaner for waterproof clothing and equipment. It safely revitalises breathability and water-repellency. This product is a non-detergent soap which can be used regularly to clean clothing and equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent coatings. This product is to be used instead of detergents or washing powder.

Before use always read the instructions on the bottle and the garment carefully to ensure compatibility

General Comments

I have used both the Nikwax Tech wash and Grangers G-wash for a number of years with various garments from fleeces and trousers with water repellent finishes to full technical jackets and trousers/salopettes. In my experience the performance of both is comparable and they work well and do restore the water repellency of the garments, although maybe not to their original level but certainly to a level which is fine for what I use them for. I did find that the Nikwax product had a longer shelf life than the Grangers, but this may have changed now. I have always used Nikwax Tech Wash before reproofing my TNF Kichatna.
