Sapphire

I'm still working on breaking them in, but I have tried on more climbing shoes than I could ever hope to keep track of and these were by far my favorite lace-ups. The heel pocket is just the right size for most women's feet and the s-shape lacing makes it really adjustable (from loose to really tight). And the Stealth C4 rubber is well known and performs really well. I know several women at the gym that I climb at that have a pair of these and we all love them.

I totally love these. I have 4 pairs. I first bought this shoe, because it was on sale, but it definitely makes difference that is made for a female foot. The second I put them on they felt like I wore them a month. They lasted very long – about 3months of very hard climbing and especially bouldering. They are very sticky and very sensitive at the same time. I went and bought pare ½ size smaller to get a better performance. The heel is still little to big for me, but I have a really narrow feet. Those took a little while to break and even now I still have to take them off after a climb. It is a shame that EMS is not caring them anymore. I bought last two pairs on sale in fall.

I bought a pair of these shoes because they seem to fit well, like the 5.10 Black Diamond. However, the Sapphires are too soft and don't edge that well. My feet hurt every time I wore them. Now I only use them as an alternative shoe, when my other shoes are being resoled.
