Overview
I missed this mountain in SP, so I created this new item - mainly to sign the climbers log.
If you want contribute (or even own!) Dreilander Spitze, fell free to contact me.
Getting There
Same as
Piz Buin (credit goes to
Huberschwiller):
Bielerhöhe 2030 m (Austria) can be reached from either Galtür or Partenen, by going over the Silvrettahochalpenstrasse. Because it is possible to stay for more than one day up in the mountais there whitout coming down, the best thing to do is to take your ticket with you to the hut and let them put a stamp on it.
Galtür is situated in the Paznauntal and can be reached from Insbruck. The best way to go to Partenen is to go by Bludenz.
Red Tape
No permits.
There is a fee to be payed to reach Bielerhöhe by car.
Attention!
Silvrettahochalpenstrasse is closed during winter. You may park your car in Galtür (as we did) or in Partenen.
Routes overview
1. Wiesbadener hut
Dreiländerspitze can be reached from Austria from the
Wiesbadener hut, crossing the
Vermunt glacier, climbing up to the
Ob. Ochsenscharte and then zigzag to ski depot (about 100m bellow summit). Cross is located on the distant peak, so do not be surprised if you have to descent few tens of meters and climb to the cross.

2. Jamtal hut
Dreiländerspitze can be reached also from the
Jamtal hut. Take direction from hut south to Jamtal ferner and climb up to
