Re: A very Large Glacier!Not really! Pers glacier is only 6 km², it is a sub-glacier of the Morteratsch glacier.
You can see here the Pers Glacier from a better point of view

That would make it20 times smaller than the Great Aletsch Glacier!

Re: That would make itYeah, right. Pers glacier isn't as big as the famous ones like Aletsch, Gorner, Pasterze or Mer de glace. But together with the morteratsch-glacier it is much ice!
