Panorama towards Italy from the Rothornpass aka Gran Sella del Gries (3112m)

High on the Swiss-Italian border, the Rothornpass, called Gran Sella del Gries in Italian, is the key saddle between Blinnenhorn aka Corno Cieco (3375m) and Rothorn aka Corno Rosso (3289m). From Italy, the route to Blinnenhorn via this pass is easy, but it is still a glacier route, and there are crevasses to reckon with.
