I Just called my friends in Thamel, Kathmandu. They said they will be open for business.Anything that caters to climbing should be open, This is the start of the busy tourist and climbing season.

Be careful with your stuff in PR. I heard many times while visiting USVI ans BVI that the people traveling through PR had had their suit cases ransacked at the airport. I recently bought with some friends a nice piece of beachfront land in Costa Rica. Dominical to be exact. Still very cheap and the value of property is skyrocketing. Look into it.

Yes it is very easy to get around Thailand. Only problem I saw was the taxis in Bangkok are very expensive,trains are very cheap. I loved Tonsi beach, one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Thai airlines is one of the best I have ever flown. I have never been to a country that caters to tourist...

pilgrim hotel.Kathmandu Thamel

I will be in Kathmandu in April and I have always stayed in Pilgrim Hotel in Thamel. I cannot get ahold of Lisa the owners daughter. Does anyone know if they are still open? Thanks

The word has been out for a few years now. Patagonia is the new South East Asia.
