Anyone want to climb this weekend?

by CastillejaMiniata » Wed Aug 31, 2011 6:06 pm

I'm thinking the Blanca group, including Little Bear, or something challenging in the Elks, which is the only range in CO that I have wracked up zero 14ers within.

Either everyone in the Colorado forum climbs alone, or you're all a bunch of elitist jerks! I never get replies.

Good luck with your approach. Here's a thread that may or may not shed some light on your views about SPers. Did you try looking at the "plans & partners" and maybe look at recent posts with-in the Colorado board?

The plans and partners section is an organizational disaster. Yes, when I suggest I would be interested in someone's trip in this forum, there is never a reply. You only have to look down a dozen or so threads to see my point, which is not an isolated case.

If it's my post you are reffering to, I sent you an email in response. :?:

Then again, maybe the SP email system is not working properly. I recently got an SP from "Brent D" wanting information on Lone Cone (San Juans), but I can't find any "Brent D" in "people" and since he didn't include his email in the address, I can't send him anything.

You can still climb this weekend if you like, but we're probably headed for Cloud Peak. Snowmass would be plan B (If I can't get off work in time).

Edit:

The SP email is definately not working. I just sent an email through my son's profile and it never made it to the recipient address. I reported it in the site feedback section.

Scott, it was your thread I was referring to, but yours was only one example of many and no offense directed at you. My current plan is Snowmass and Capitol in one backpacking trip.

Deepest apologies, but I will have to leave without everyone. Heading up to Capitol and Snowmass.

Let's see...you live in Colorado and you're posting under the Colorado forum.
You're doing Cap and Snowmass alone...welcome to the elitist circle! :|

I see your second post was made only a day later with that kind of tone. So you're also impatient & quick to judge.
Have fun with that.

Uh huh. You must have missed the part where I said, multiple times, that after multiple times asking, I never get replies. I had a lot of fun creating a "new" 5-pass loop that happened to encompass both peaks.
