Wow! I like their 'Partners' interface. Can anyone vouch for it being effective (or not)?

Speaking of Partners section, I didn't touch it because I was not sure if it would be still supported.

So what if 96.3 percent are 10s...

I guess I don't see any reason to change this system. I can't see how 8 extra numbers causes anyone any harm. I actually kind of prefer giving things on a scale of 1-10 even if I don't usually use 2-9.

I'd prefer we just leave the system as is.

PS I'll not that I have a personal displeasure for facebook, so any changes that make me think of facebook I find displeasing. I also don't see why everything needs to be simplified down to yes and no even if the majority of people choose to answer in a form of yes and no (good or bad, good or evil, 0 or 1, + or -, etc...).

Still have 1-10... nothing to worry about. 6-10 raises a pages score, and 1-5 lowers it.

A 5/10 does damage. Hmmm... was this on purpose? I expected it to do nothing. I guess it has to do with the vote weight.

I have had some 6/10's do damage too.

1-5 lowers a score, 6-10 raises it... so yes a 5 does damage... but very little.

Note that 5.5 is in the middle of 1-10, since we don't have a 0-10 system. So this was the design.

6s can lower a score by an insignificant amount (0.01% or so) in certain situations (such as if a user with less than 10 power points voted a 10/10 and everyone else voted a 10/10 too and then you come along and vote a 6). If you are seeing something different that is concerning let me know.

I am not worried. I just noticed it occurred a couple of time while trying things out.

Now for me to go stir things up by giving a bunch of ok but not perfect pages some 7s and 8s!

I like the new presentation, just one minor issue: in many pages authors have used links in the legends of photos. Links are dark and so are the picture frames, which makes them not very visible. Easy to correct I think.
And yes, the issue of publishing pages is top priority. I've been writing it for years too: going through custom objects isn't user-friendly, there should be a "publish" option.
It would also reduce a lot the rubbish in the objects lists like unfinished pages of new users who never came back.

The new server seems to be super FAST, which is very good. I'm giving three thumbs up for the changes so far.
