It's probably harder for me, because I don't have "natural" balance (really). I guess I'm going too fast... twirling around on 4'-wide, sloped summit block just didn't seem like the smartest maneuver at the time. I think someone else should try it on, say, thunderbolt.

Ok, SF peaks with Pete #2 has been scheduled for Thursday, Feb 6, so here's your chance join in the fun. If interested, contact me for details (snwbord@hotmail.com) and an exclusive invite. The primary objective will be towering (pun intended) Mt. Sutro.

Do we need to sign the waiver before the trip, or can we sign at the hike?

Where near Big Pine does one go kayaking - the fish hatchery?

Anyway, we'll be walking the streets of SF instead. Lots of opportunities for you to do psychological studies, btw.

Oh, and I almost forgot - nice shirt!

But the bus ride from Sacramento is only $6.50, roundtrip, which is why it's Thursday and not Monday. Can't you do lab work remotely on the bus? There must be an ap for that...

Sutro Tower can be very dangerous. I suggest you avail yourselves of the guidelines on the web. e.g.:

http://forums.defiance.com/showthread.p ... er-Mission

Make sure your weapons are fully armed. Best to wear helmets with variable-density visors, and make sure you have clean underwear.
