Bolivian guides

by climbhighnow » Tue Jan 24, 2006 4:37 am

I plan on being in La Paz some time in aug. and am looking for a good (local) guide. I have heard of Bolivian Journeys, can anybody recomend this company first hand? or second, or third?
thanks, Brendan

Recently on Aconcagua, I socialized with a group of guys from Aragon (Spain) who had a Bolivian guide. He did really a great job and was also very sympathetic. I believe he is a UIAGM (International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) certified one as he was trained in Chamonix (France). If you want to contact him:

wish you success
