I have climbed Mt. Rainier one time. A personal record shared by many.

I climbed Rainier one and a half times.

Doesn't a "day trip" from Paradise to Camp Muir to Paradise count ???

Can't recall a date 40 years ago, so he must not have climbed it. Hell, off the top of my head, I can't recall the dates of ANY peaks I've summited, and certainly not anything from that long ago.

If they didn't have sunburns, then they were just full of shit.

I do understand that people like to impress others, I mean check out my profile picture : )

To be honest it is kind of annoying to have a core group of people that vote on each others photos religiously. It is nice to see new members make it in # 1 spot. I seen the same photo of the same mountain make it to POTD like 3 times! It isn't against the rules or anything..just weird. Maybe I am just jealous : ))

Sorry Vitaliy, no more votes from me......your photos SUCK

That certainly counts for a half. Do it one more time and you'll have two summits under your belt.

It would be amazing that anyone who has done a mountain more then 100x would remember any dates. Given how long he has guided on Rainier I would have expected that 500 would be a conservative number.
