Ecuador weather for Jan ?

How does the weather compare for June/July as opposed to Jan ? I was there in June and the weather was perfect. I will be doing Cotopaxi again and maybe Chimborazo in early Jan.

should be colder and drier than usual (or at least colder and drier than the past few years) due to the return of la nina
