Aconcagua - Jan 2007

by cp0915 » Wed Jun 14, 2006 6:19 pm

For the sake of conversation, who plans to be on the mountain in Jan 2007? My teammates and I will be in-country Jan 2-20.

This last January seemed to have great SP representation - I wonder how this year will compare.

I am planning to climb Ameghino and Cuerno starting the first week in Jan. 2007. If I have the energy I may give Aconcagua a go also. Then again I may not have the energy for any of them but just being there will be worth the trip. :D

I'm taking a large group there Dec 25 to Jan12 on the Polish Glacier side. Half will attempt the Polish Direct and the other half the Traverse.

I'd like to go down again, but December is a better month for me.

I don't plan to go Aconcagua on 2006/2007 season, may be next one, but I plan to be in Mendoza to try Cordon del Plata
