Stumbled across Early Days in the Range of Light at the bookstore. A terrific read. Can't recommend it highly enough. Anyone else read it?

Never heard of it or the author...but it looks like a fine read, something for the turkey break :)

I'm a bit prejudiced as I've been immersed in this material for the last few years, but I highly recommend it for your mid-winter comfy-chair enjoyment. A great read.

It is indeed a great book.

Dan Arnold will be giving readings on the Eastside this weekend. Here's the dates, times and places.

Friday--Bishop, 6:30pm, Inyo Council for the Arts (Spellbinder is the host)
Saturday--Mammoth, 4pm, Booky Joint
Sunday--Lone Pine, 1pm, InterAgency Visitor Center
