None of you have very much gear.

My gear takes up most of my basement. Kind of like Sierra Ledge Rat's display (sans scuba), plus a couple of road bikes, a couple of mountain bikes, 10 pairs of skis (downhill, nordic, and backcountry), 3 pairs of snow shoes, a couple pairs of roller skis, inline skates, nordic skates, etc.

I don't let anyone see my stuff, lest they discover the full extent of my addiction.

WTF, why do you own a pair of snowshoes (let alone 3) if you own 10 pairs of skis?

I'm sure your gear is made to look somewhat larger with the bikes and skis.

And I have to agree with another poster, why have 3 pairs of snow shows and 10 pairs of skis?

As I say, mine is in the car, garage, upstairs. Actually if you look at my climbing pack you wouldn't say anything but recently I had a CLIMBER on a forum ask who has that much gear when we described the gear list for a route we recently did (actually freeing a sport route). For some reason he thought that 7-9 BD green (0) C3's was a bit excessive.

Dingus..... I still own the Skis I learned on..... 40 years ago!

I tried to throw them out one time, they looked so sad sticking out of the can, I had to put them back into the garage.

My climbing rack is pretty dismal... I hang with rich gear heads who wont use anything old, so I use their stuff .....

Works just fine.
