Three of us are driving into the Cooke City area Sun evening Aug 24th and plan to do Granite Peak via the SW Couloir route. Our plan is to hike up to one of the high lakes on Mon, summit Granite on Tues and return to the high camp or all the way back to the trailhead depending on weather and strength of the group. We will then head over to Idaho, camp near the Borah Peak TH and do Borah the next day. We will be driving round trip from Boulder, Colorado returning sometime Aug 29 thru Aug 31st.

It may be short notice- but if anyone has a desire to join us or tag along, we would welcome a couple of additional folks for this trip.
