Grossglockner

by freeclimber80 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 3:07 pm

Hi,

I would like to climb Grossglockner in September (in the second half more precisely). I had an experience when it comes to walking over glacier and most of equipment (ropes, harneses, axes, crampoons etc..). If there will be a good weather I plan to do it within 4 days including Saturday and Sunday - I think it is enough to perform an "attack" as Grossglockner is just about 3800 m. If you are interested please contact me (freeclimber80[AT]gmail.com) then we cold discuss details.

Thanks in Advance

Hello.

I'm interested! Are the huts still open in the second half of september?
I did Mont Blanc in 2012, and tried Elbrus last year (I reached 4000 m, but no summit).
Right now, I'm thinking of driving to Switzerland for Monte Rosa.

You can reach me on Facebook (Yv Henri) and by email: yves.porters@telenet.be

Best regards,

Yves
