Hiking Calendar Icon

I'll give Daria a little credit with her dating suggestion, it made me think of this. What about a hiking calendar that when SPers are going out, thay can post their plans? Then fellow SPers if they are in the general area could meet up with or change their plans to fit another's itinerary. I realize that at times plans change but..................I think a good idea.

Yea but I've seen many posts where by it's not used regularly. I've looked at it and the format is bad (my opinion), it's not user friendly. A calendar for each of the ranges would mean you could click on the area and those searching do the same. Not needing to surf through many posts that are not in the area you're interested in.

Edit- I hadn't used some of the search criteria and that did help. It automatically put in my area (Sonoma) so that was part of the problem. But that page can be reworked to be easier to use.
