Both Millet and Deuter make excellent packs. I have the Deuter (women's model which is 60+10) and Fred has the 65+10. We are very happy with them.

You should go to a store and see how well they fit you and easily they can be adjusted. The Millet 75 will be the largest, then the Deuter and then the 65 Millet. Fit is very important, especially if carrying a big load.

For winter, you may need something with more room, because winter things are bulkier.

I went to the store and the 3 model backpacks chose.
But now can not decide which is better...
Because any 3 backpacks are the best.

What Moni said. If you think they are all equally good, then buy the cheapest one.

My wife using the 75-10 Kumbu and loves it. Both my son and I use a Mchale which in all of our opinions is the best carrying pack out there hands down no question. Makes whatever weight you are carrying feel like half. www.mchale.com

If all three fit you, then go with the largest. Winter gear is bulky. The Millet 75 looks like it has good compression straps, so it can be adjusted for when you less volume to carry.

McHale Packs are hands down the best I've seen. Don't think he ships internationally though.

I like the features of Millet packs. I feel more like the designers actually use them.

If you enjoy winter arts and crafts, here's a pack that might suit you. Or even if your ever in pain, there's plenty of glue and markers to sniff that will make you forget where you are and all your worries will dissipate.

Please don't take offense because I am simply asking an honest question.

If you are doing a 'technical winter climb', why would you be asking advise on a pack? I would think if I were needing to ask advise for gear on said 'technical' climb, maybe I really shouldn't be doing it in the 1st place.
