New kind of hiking website for Wasatch Mountains

by EJBean » Sat May 28, 2011 8:35 am

I've just finished writing a web application to help people find new trails in the Wasatch - http://www.wasatchhiker.com (it took me all winter). It's got a database with 860 miles of trails and 190 destinations, mostly between Parleys and Provo Canyons. It's geared for people trying to find trails to fit their comfort and fitness levels. Most people in this forum are very familiar with the area and may not need to use it, but I wanted to mention it here to get your opinion and perhaps get suggestions on how to make it better. Also, there's links on most pages in the site for trail gurus to add additional comments that might help people new to that area. Could you check it out and let me know what you think?
Thanks, Eric
