These are waterproof breathable NeoShell (fabric by Polartec) pants with full length zippers down the sides. The zippers are one way, from the bottom up, and are NOT full separating zips. Color is black. Reflective patches at cuffs.
Waist is 24" relaxed, 30" stretched. Inseam is 27.5" and outside seam measures 37.5". I have these same pants and have been using them for years. Fantastic to quickly put on over shoes/boots ...

"Five climbers died after getting caught in a snowstorm while on the highest mountain in Europe, Russia's Mount Elbrus.

Fourteen other members of the group were rescued in strong winds and low visibility amid temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius, the Emergency Situations Ministry said on September 24.

Eleven of the survivors were taken to hospital.

The September 23 incident occurred when the 19 climbers were at an altitude of over 5,000 meters."

I used to enjoy "Backpacker" and have subscribed for years, but lately they have been publishing article after article of woke nonsense (e.g. weighing in on Stone Mountain) which has absolutely nothing to do with the outdoors, including in-your-face tokenism and finger-wagging. I get into the mountains to get away from the garbage of modern city life. I don't want it following me like a tin can tied to a cat's tail. Anyone else here ...
