Partners for mountaineering/climbing UK wanted

by marer » Tue Aug 23, 2011 5:00 pm

If you love mountains and mountaineering/some easy climbing, drop me a line.

I'm looking for people who love spending free time close to nature.

If you live in the UK (I live in Milton Keynes), and you'd like to meet and do some mountaineering or mountains walking, I'd be happy to meet you.

Are you often in the UK? I noticed that you're based in Belgium...

Hi again,
Just to refresh the topic.
Next Saturday (19.11.11) I am planning Old Man of Coniston via Low Water Beck route.
Is anyone willing to join me?

Raf

Hi,

If anyone ever fancies getting out and about in Scotland give me a shout. I will be looking to get out over the next couple of months, I have a couple of years experience winter walking but want to start winter climbing so would be up for grade I/II climbs, competent leading up to VS in summer.

Hi Alex,

I will be heading to Scotland this winter at least few times.

I am having problems to find a partner for winter climbing in general. I will send you PM with my mobile phone number, and I hope for the same from you. I would like to give you a shout around mid Jan. I want to give Ben Nevis a try.

I would love to head to Scotland for a few winter days out in the mountains. My experience is extremely limited though to hiking and scrambling in the Alps, Tryfan North Ridge and Crib Goch in Wales and I've just started indoor climbing. No experience of winter equipment or techniques at all

Hi guys, I live in London and I'm always into mountaineering, scrambling, rock, ice and mixed climbing (not too difficult) so drop me a message if you have any interesting plans. Cheers!

I moved to London this autumn. I'm also looking for hiking/climbing/scrambling partners. Hoping to get out walking or scrambling in Wales this weekend. I'll be back in the US over christmas, but coming back in January; with my axe, crampons, and trad rack.

Stef, I'm here in Scotland all the time :D and more than happy to meet up when you're here in February. Probably need to be on a weekend though as i doubt I'll be off work midweek around then.

Plans will soon be more clear but first I need to do my climbing in Wales the next weeks. Three more nights and I am in Llanberis again!!

Aye, best to deal with the now and worry about the later....later. Give me a shout when you're coming north of the border.
