Cho La Pass, Himalayas, Nepal

by naylork » Mon Sep 24, 2018 11:46 am

Hi. I'm planning a trek in Himalayas in November and was trying to get a little off the completely beaten path of EBC trek. I am looking at Gokyo Lakes trek, including going over Cho La pass. Has anyone gone over that pass? Any feedback on level of difficulty?

Thanks.

The pass isn't that difficult, but it isn't that far off the beaten track either. Gokyo is still a popular trek as is the Cho La.

There are however many valleys in the area where you can get off the beaten track.

Are you going there completely alone, Naylork? Isn't that kind of dangerous? Stay safe my friend.
